FAQs

Are your nails natural? 

YES. I only ever had falsies one time for my School Ball and ever since then only use my natural nails. I have no desire for acrylics or gels. I prefer to use my natural nails for everything...even when they decide to break all off and I am forced to nubbinize.

What is your favourite brand of polish?

Oh man...I have so many favourites. The brand I have most of is China Glaze, but the sheer size of my Indie brand collection FAR surpasses it. I would have to say I have big love for China Glaze and Essie as my main favourite brands. I love the selection of colours with CG, even if they are a bit misguided with their collections sometimes, and I love the softer shades of Essie and their massive arse brushes. LOVE Essie's wide brushes....takes one-stroke coats to a whole new level with my narrow nails.

Do you have a favourite Indie brand?

I have always enjoyed Popculture Cosmetics glitters. They have recently rebranded to Neverland Lacquers....I don't buy from them as much now and try to sample from a number of Indie brands. More recent favourite purchases have been from Femme Fatale Cosmetics and Echoes Polish - if you love thermals I really reccommend Echoes Polish!

Favourite colour/finish?

I have a shit tonne of pinks in my collection. And holo glitter toppers. I own far too many silver holo glitter toppers. I also have an addiction to multi/duochromes and thermal polishes. I need to find a way to combine all these things together. Basic colour-wise, I love mint-greens and have many many shades of mint in all different brands...at least 7 or 8 now. Essie's 'Mint Candy Apple' was my first big brand polish and my first Mint polish too.

Favourite nail art thing?

I will do me some stamping or something floral any day! 

Will you follow my IG/Blog/Thing?

I look at every single follower I get on Instagram and decide then and there whether I want to follow you or not. I don't follow private accounts - fair enough if you want to keep things private, that's up to you. I don't participate in "Follow for a follow" type things because I'm really only interested in following accounts/people that I find interesting myself.

Do you only post about nail art/why is this thing not nails?

Nail art is NOT my only interest. I follow lots of different blogs and many many different people on IG. I would prefer my blog and IG to be generally themed to nail art/polish but not 100% so. My life is not dedicated to nail polish and I want my social media accounts to be a representation of that. Up to you whether you follow or not!
